Elf said...: I found this while looking for "really bad book covers," so I know I'm late to the party here. (1) The author said that he'd never buy or want to write a book that had a cover like that. (2) The author of course has no choice in the artwork. (3) *I* never want to buy a book that has a cover like that. BUT (4) I have read some of the author's other work (under a different name) and turns out that this book is good. Really good. So I hope that some of you give it a try despite the cover.(5) Wish I could find the post--somewhere out there in the blogosphere--where someone posted copies of zillions of book covers that all have scantily clad women in black leather with tattoos seen from the back holding a weapon.
