As the submitter, Lola, points out, this seems to be a special Sweet Valley High edition of Big Love. All the ugly wives gang up on Taffy because of her blonde tresses. I would totally watch that. Also, the cover artist was apparently busy the day they covered perspective in art school. Unless the redhead and the brunette really ARE seven feet tall.

I remember getting that book through the Scholastic book club in 6th grade. The books were passed out after lunch and that amazing cover art called to me all afternoon. I was DYING to read about why everyone hated Taffy so much.
The story itself must have been a bit of a letdown, though, because I can't remember anything about it.
I also recall this one from our school's Scholastic book sale. I didn't buy the book, but thought that anyone named "Taffy" probably deserved to have a club against them. I also thought that the Little House on the Prairie fashion was way outdated and embarrassing.
I don't think that the girl in purple hates Taffy.
Oh my goodness! I totally remember this book! wow, blast from the past!
