I'm a day late with this, but hopefully it's funny enough to make up for the delay.
I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be some sort of evil all-seeing eye (and perhaps a goofy play on the title -- See of Monsters?), but all I see is an enormous nipple on an even more enormous tata, being supported by a rope bridge. I guess when your boob is that big, you can't find a really cute, lacy bra (I mean, this must be a ZZZZZZZ cup or something), but a bridge?? Hire a seamstress! And please, for the sake of decency (and the sanity of those poor people escaping across your bra) cover that eyenipple!!

If I weren't gay already, I think that bazoonga-eye would have made me.
Oh, great, thanks! Now I can't stop seeing that huge boob. X-D
FYI, that book, and the other four books that make up the series, are really quite fantastic.
HAHA! I can't believe this made it on there! That is one of those things that you hope you're not the only one seeing, but you think you might be, so you say nothing. Like how my library abbreviates "Children's Literature" as C.Lit on all their call numbers. Yeesh.
And, I have to point out that the series is fantastic.
I will never look at C.Lit the same again, Lindz.
Nor will I ever be able to see this cover without seeing nips. Excellent spotting, BikerPuppy!
Here is a submission for Phallic Phriday: http://lcweb2.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/I?var:500:./temp/~pp_u3YW::displayType=1:m856sd=var:m856sf=1189:@@@mdb=fsaall,brum,detr,swann,look,gottscho,pan,horyd,genthe,var,cai,cd,hh,yan,lomax,ils,prok,brhc,nclc,matpc,iucpub,tgmi,lamb,hec,krb
I realize it isn't a book cover, but as soon as I saw it I thought of Judge a Book by its Cover. And guess what the source was....Library of Congress! (Mmm picture goodness). Here is the biographical info: http://lcweb2.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?var:4:./temp/~pp_pI3y::@@@mdb=fsaall,brum,detr,swann,look,gottscho,pan,horyd,genthe,var,cai,cd,hh,yan,lomax,ils,prok,brhc,nclc,matpc,iucpub,tgmi,lamb,hec,krb
You know, I've seen the cover of this book before, but never spent much time looking at it. Now, of course, I will never be able to look at it in the same way again. Thanks!
Isn't there a movie that involves a giant breast rampaging the country side until they catch it in a giant bra? Why am I thinking Woody Allen? Somehow I look at this cover and think "Hm - Woody Allen."
This series is so hot at my library right now I'm surprised no one tried to grab the book off my screen.
I'll never be able to look at the cover the same way though.
I've seen the Sea of Monsters in Yellow Submarine, and that ain't it. "That was the panic button."
that is really gay! i'm reading that book and it is fantastic!!
ps. the cover does not look like that!!!:(
Well...ummm...yeah, I guess since BikerPuppy is a woman and she spotted this mammary (good spotting, BP!) I guess it is kinda 'gay'! Good spotting, Phepher. Now go troll the 13 years old and younger boards.
The Woody Allen movie was "Everything you always wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask". Also has Woody as a sperm: "I'm not getting shot out of that thing. What if he's masturbating? I'm liable to end up on the ceiling."

i read that book, because a my neice was flippping out over it. guess how old my neice is? 12. yes, they're kids books. and now, the next time i see her re-reading it, how am i supposed to explain my random bursts of innapropreately loud laughter at the cover?
Gosh, it is CHILDREN'S book! Here's the cover of the Finnish edition - almost the same... But now that I have read the description I think I have to read the series?!

Thank you, FB. I knew there had to be a reason I kept thinking Woody Allen when I saw this cover.
Bwaha! That is totally what I thought when I saw this at the bookstore.
Well said!
