Does this man inspire confidence?

Would you watch a movie this man recommended?   I happen to agree with Richard Crouse on some of his selections (at least a few of selections, actually, a lot of these movies are ob-scure):  Happy Texas is charmingly silly, Jason and the Argonauts made my childhood endurable, I was one of 5 people who liked Hedwig and the Angry Inch.  But there's no getting around the fact that Killer Klowns from Outer Space is terrible.

But why am I writing about what's in the book when I should be focusing on the cover of The 100 Best Movies You've Never Seen.  Hip thrusts do not inspire my confidence on the dance floor and they certainly don't on a movie recommendation book cover.  But it gets worse.  Here's the back cover.
It's going to be a while before I want to eat popcorn again.

But "Killer Klowns" was terrible in a really great way. The cheesy effects make it actually kind of creepy. I've never seen another movie like it. Personally, I think it's a must-see, and I rarely thrust my hips, so you can trust me.

Well, with all that "hip action" and flying popcorn, one would think it's another kind of movies he's recommending...
if you know what I mean...
you know...
you know, don't you..?
THOSE movies, --wink, wink--
The ones with blinking lights that cause seizures?
That's what I was talking about...
but you knew it already...

I agree with Killer Klowns- the costumes are amazing.
not sure what the message is with the pose: bad back or ferret loose in his pants or painful rectal itch that he's trying to scratch with his butt cheeks? (sorry for that image)

and the popcorn "money shot" just makes me think of how much food we waste, and then I feel sad.

but where is the "100 worst movies everyone has seen" book?

Perhaps his bad back makes it necessary to send a ferret down there to deal with that painful itch.

I hope the ferret isn't involved in the popcorn "money shot", though.

Killer Klowns - terrible movie, GREAT title song by The Dickies.

OK I am coming to this late, but I can assure you that way more than 5 people liked Hedwig. They showed the movie for 6 weeks in Knoxville, TN, and 2 years later the play sold out every show. I don't know if that says more about the appeal of Hedwig or the lack of entertainment options in Knoxville, but still!
