I have two dogs, both of whom are gratuitous (though the pomeranian's far more gratuitous than the cocker spaniel.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2055640445288546798.post-66608787520720872222007-05-10T02:47:00.000-04:002007-05-10T02:47:00.000-04:00Like WithoutaK, I drifted here from Comics Curmudg...Like WithoutaK, I drifted here from Comics Curmudgeon but I stay for the pie, er, snark. Thanks for absorbing the psychic damage of these eye-crossing tomes and passing them on to us lazy late-night timewasters.

True story: In an attempt to be more creative than using table numbers or spendy fiddly placeholders at our wedding reception, my fiance' & I decided to buy a bunch of used cheeseball romance novels to put on tables so we could direct guests to "Cowboy Santa" and "Fake I.D. Wife."

Sadly, the idea was never implemented (trying to find one's shoes while getting cornered by a photographer took precedence) but I pass it along as repayment for the great amusement I've derived from your tireless extracurricular librarianship. This reminds of when my dad and I would wander the romance section of various bookstores and snark on both the covers and plot descriptions. Good times.

Oh, and taking a leaf from bridget's book: yes, you do have what may be the cutest dogs alive. However, I feel I must point out that it's only because my darling Rolly is currently the reigning Cutest Dog in Doggie Heaven (Beagle Class).

Snark on!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2055640445288546798.post-50062052594190264892007-05-08T23:34:00.000-04:002007-05-08T23:34:00.000-04:00From the first post I saw I subscribed to your fee...From the first post I saw I subscribed to your feed.
